Today the girls travelled up to Solihull, with high hopes. The game started strong with double teaming across the pitch. The intensity was high, leading to a short corner and a goal from Bryony Gillgrass. Transfers were strong, and with the forwards leading ahead, the first half ended in a 2-0 to Kings with Hermione Pratt, scoring a deflection goal. After the team talk at half time, the second half began with multiple defensive short corners. These were successfully defended by the back 4 with a special mention to Anna Wales who blocked Solihull attacks. Overall, the girls played very well giving a strong start for the cup match next week.
