U12 A

We had a successful first game against Bablake winning 2-1. We played really well together as a team, our passing and drives were really positive however we felt there is still room for improvement. Erin and Elsie were our goal scorers in the first game.

We also won our second game against Loughborough High School 2-1 and the goal scorers this time round were Ella and Robyn. The goal we conceded was really unfortunate as we defended incredibly well the whole game.

Our penultimate game was against Kings High Warwick, Robyn scored two of the three goals this game scoring one from a short corner just before half time. Erin also added to the score with the match ending 3-1 to Kings. Our leads up the wing and accurate passing contributed to the win alongside strong tackles and pressure on the ball when they had possession.

Our final match against Solihull was another positive one, absolutely everyone gave 100% and managed to win 2-0. The scorers in this game were Erin and Ella. We ensured that we waited on our tackles and always had someone on the back post when defending. Overall, as a team there are defiantly things to improve on but it was an incredibly positive start to the hockey season.
