Match Report
The King's School, Worcester Girls-U15A vs  Solihull School
On: Saturday, 15 Sep 2018
Venue: Away

The U15’s had their second match of the season away at Solihull school. The match didn’t get off to the best start as many players were out of position and it started quite apprehensively but despite this there were a few pieces of really good play. Unfortunately, due to a good goal from Solihull the half ended 1-0.

We had a good talk at half time about using width and decided to return back to our usual positions. The second half started well, with some even play from both sides. Despite some good passes and defending from kings, Solihull scored a goal. Solihull then grew stronger from this and had a quick turn around with yet another goal. It was then 3-0 to them, and kings were tired with only one sub. However, we pulled through and played the best we played throughout he match in the last 10 minutes with us having the majority of the possession and several shots on goal. Unfortunately the whistle was blown before we could score.

The final score was 3-0 to them but we have learnt a lot about our play and will apply these newfound tactics in our next match against them on Thursday.
